Player Profile - Ben Trimmer

Started coaching: October 2018 (aged 16)

Handicap: 3

Ben starting his coaching after we met at an event at Wentworth. Ben was already an accomplished golfer from Worthing G.C playing off a handicap of 3. He had received previous coaching but was keen to take the next step.

We decided that a programme of half & full day coaching was best for Ben. This incorporated coaching in all areas of the game, but the on-course coaching would be the most effective route.

Ben was experiencing a dip in form and was trying to find his way back to his best golf. The cause of this was a combination of a technical correction and mindset / player performance issues. The work we have done with Ben spanned across a broad spectrum of technical changes. We also used video training to help improve his ‘mindset’, build confidence and tackle the difficult moments during rounds.
