Online Golf Lessons
We like our students to feel that they have a strong connection to us. It’s not just about the time we spend together on the range or on the course. In this world of modern-day connectivity, there are plenty of ways for us to provide support to our junior players.
There are plenty of platforms that we can use to have video calls with our players. For example, WhatsApp, Facebook, FaceTime & Zoom. We can cover many aspects of the game via video calls. But more importantly it means we are available for our students who just need to talk or have specific questions.
Golf Strategy
In between face-to-face lessons, our coaches carry out online lessons to discuss strategy. These lessons are vital for students for them to develop as a well-rounded golfer. A player may have a great swing, but if they exercise poor strategy on the course, they will drop shots. By using video calls, we can be a lot more accessible to our students and offer more input at the right time. This will allow them to develop their strategy, play smarter golf and lower their handicap more quickly.
Golf Psychology
A player’s mental approach to the game is so important if they are going to succeed. And this is where online golf lessons can really add value to a player’s development. By teaching our students to approach each shot with the right mindset allows them to progress quicker. We do of course cover this, along with strategy, in our face-to-face meetings. However, our video calls and our online resources allow us to really focus on this crucial aspect of the game.
Online Technical Lessons
It may not be the same as face-to-face coaching, but there are times when online coaching is useful. With the right setup and the right technology, we can offer effective technical coaching online. This is especially useful when, for example, a student is away at a golf tournament or on holiday.
The student would just need a tripod and the right attachment for their phone or tablet. Both of these can be bought cheaply online. They then need a golf range bay or garden space big enough to assemble the tripod in front and behind.
