Our Golf Coaching Philosophy
To compete successfully at golf, a player needs to be proficient in all aspects of the game. That is why we develop comprehensive coaching programmes for each player, designed to develop them into well rounded players. Our aim is to leave no stone unturned in guiding our students on their journey to playing better golf.
Depending on their age and their goals, we will regularly biomechanically screen our players. This allows us to constantly monitor their progress, correct their swing and keep them on track. It also helps to blueprint swing and movement patterns, based on how the player is built. Depending on a player’s ambition, we will also set out personal training programmes and physiotherapy sessions.
This, combined with launch monitor and video data, will provide us with the information required to enhance a player’s learning. But for a player to reach their full potential they need to have more than just a good swing. Our coaching is designed to help players become ‘well rounded’ golfers, learning the skills in all the key areas of the game.

We therefore base our training programmes around the six pillars of coaching:
- Technical
- Mindset
- Strategy
- Physical
- Equipment
- Practice

Technical
Every player is built differently, so we must make sure they can optimise their swing for consistency, accuracy and power. We aim to build proficiency, from driving through to putting, with logical, structured systems and by using the latest technology.
Mindset
To become a proficient golfer, players need to have more than just a good swing. Learning to deal with the mental requirements of training and playing golf at the highest level is essential. They need to be able to control their thoughts, anxiety levels and keep a clear mind. If they can do this, it will ensure good decision making and technical performance on the course.

Strategy
This is where we help our students to plan their golf intelligently and avoid making the wrong decisions. To get the most out of their game, they will learn a system that helps them make the right choices. Coaching in the range is great for developing the technical part of the game. However, there are many distractions and problems that golfers find on the course. Knowing how to map the course, shot selection and dealing with on-course situations will greatly improve a player’s golf scores.
Physical
In any sport, if a player is to perform, they need to stay injury-free and in the best possible condition. We will set training schedules designed for each individual player to ensure they remain in peak physical condition. We will teach players about the importance of nutrition in helping to avoid fatigue during a round of golf. And to help with overall endurance on the course, we’ll teach players how to maintain a healthy body & lifestyle.

Equipment
To give players the best chance of developing, we ensure that they have access to the best coaching equipment. We use the latest technology to help us analyse and correct a player’s movements during a swing. Whilst putter and club fitting sessions will ensure that players have the right tools for the job on the course. By ensuring that players have suitable equipment, it will help their development and support their performance.
Practice
To become proficient in anything, it requires practice. We will work with parents to create a schedule that will allow players to put our coaching into practice. And to ensure they get the maximum benefit from their schedule, our students will be coached in effective practice methods.
